Entry-Level Staff Auditor
Staff Auditors will work as part of a team in completing audits and reviews of privately held commercial and not-for-profit enterprises (we have no PCAOB registered clients, which means our audit work is far less stressful and demanding of your personal time).
The specific duties of a Staff Auditor include:
- Completion of general planning and risk assessment procedures surrounding audit engagements,
- Evaluation of client accounting transactions for compliance with GAAP, and
- Preparation of financial statements.
Staff Auditors generally work on multiple client engagements simultaneously and therefore must hold strong organizational skills to monitor and complete assignments within respective deadlines. There is limited (less than 5%) travel required for this position.
Candidates must hold an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting with 150 hours of college credits and an intention to sit for the CPA exam. Qualified candidates will be detail-oriented and proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Preference will be given to candidates with prior accounting or bookkeeping experience.
