Audit Senior

Audit Seniors work as part of a team in completing audits and reviews of commercial and not-for-profit enterprises (all of our commercial clients are owner-managed or other closely-held businesses, we have no publicly traded or regulated industry clients – or the stress associated with such clients).

The specific duties of an Audit Senior include:

  • Completion of general planning and risk assessment procedures surrounding audit engagements,
  • Evaluation of client accounting transactions for compliance with GAAP, and
  • Preparation of financial statements.

Audit Seniors generally work on multiple client engagements simultaneously and therefore must hold strong organizational skills to monitor and complete assignments within respective deadlines. There is limited (less than 5%) travel required for this position.

Candidates must hold an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting with 150 hours of college credits and successful progress towards completion of the CPA exam.  Qualified candidates will be detail-oriented and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
